|Fourteen football clubs are set to compete in the V.League 1 during the 2020 season.
The Vietnam Professional Football Company (VPF) has also made a decision to monitor the developments regarding the fight against the COVID-19 before deciding whether the second and third rounds of the V.League 1 2020 season will be played in front of spectators.
The VPF plans to for the second round of matches to take place from March 13 to 15, whilst the third round of games will be played from March 19 to 20.
The Super Cup tie between V.League 1 champions Hanoi FC and National Cup runners-up Ho Chi Minh City FC is set to get underway at the Thong Nhat Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City on March 1.
Both sides will be permitted to bring 100 of their own fans into the stadium.
The Super Cup organisers, along with the Ho Chi Minh City’s Department of Culture and Sports, will move to sterilise the stadium and check the health of football fans in order to meet strict requirements on disease prevention and ensure the health of both players and supporters.
