Due to facing the disadvantage of playing on a clay court, Nam was unable to compete to the best of his abilities.
During the tournament, which took place between March 25 and 31, Nam was seeded No.4 in the men's singles event.
However, the Vietnamese tennis player lost out to Christian Lindell of Sweden (ITF No.218) in the first match.
Nam was later knocked out in the second match of the tournament as he was defeated 0-2 by Bruno Santanna of Brazil (ITF No.80).
The nation’s top tennis player will next fly to Tunisia to compete at the ATP Challenger Tunis Open, which is set to take place between April 15 and 21.
The tournament has a total cash prize of US$54,000.
