The Thong Nhat Stadium will host the return fixture on April 15.
Previously the first match had been scheduled to take place at the Thong Nhat Stadium with the second game arranged for Laos. However, the April 15 date of the second fixture coincides with the Bunpimay Festival in the neighbouring Southeast Asian country, causing the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) to swap the dates of the respective ties.
Ho Chi Minh City FC are currently leading Group F with four points from two matches, whilst the nation’s other representative Than Quang Ninh FC are bottom of Group G with just a single point.
