Vietnam-Japan College to be established

Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung on March 17 approved the establishment of the Vietnam-Japan College under the Vietnam National University in Hanoi.

The school will cover 100 hectares at the Hoa Lac High-Tech Park in the capital.

Its construction and operation will be mostly funded through official development assistance provided by the Japanese Government.

When operational, the university is expected to train 6,000 students, including 2,400 postgraduates, in 10 years.
