Three severe cases test negative for virus, one foreign patient discharged

VOV.VN - Three out of four severe novel coronavirus (COVID-19) cases who have been receiving treatment at the National Tropical Disease Hospital have tested negative for the virus at least twice, according to the Ministry of Health.

Despite recording negative tests, the underlying health issues of these patients mean that they remain in a critical condition and require intensive treatment.

The four severe cases include the country’s 19th patient, two British citizens aged 69 and 74, in addition to a 50-year old Vietnamese national.

At present, three of the patients remain on ventilators, although one patient no longer requires assistance to breath.

In addition, the health of medical workers who had been infected with the COVID-19, including two doctors from the National Hospital of Tropical Diseases and two nurses at Bach Mai Hospital, remains stable.
