The four Vietnamese nationals are made up of students and workers who have recently returned from the RoK, of which three people were returning to the country from Gyeonggi province, whilst the other remaining person was travelling back from Busan.
According to reports by local authorities, the group had their health checked at Danang International Airport, with their health condition appearing to remain normal.
Despite this, all four cases must be put into quarantine to undergo strict monitoring for at least 14 days according to regulations set out by the Ministry of Health.
Dr. Do Quoc Tiep, Director of Quang Binh Centers for Disease Control, said the Steering Committee for the COVID-19 epidemic prevention in Tuyen Hoa district has sprayed disinfectant around the area and advised each member of the group about preventive measures to take whilst undergoing a period of isolation in their homes.
It is now policy that those returning from epidemic zones in the RoK are required to be put into quarantine areas, while people who have not gone through epidemic areas should be quarantined at home or in their community in line with regulations set out by the Ministry of Health, according to Dr. Tiep.
