|Press centre gears up to serve Da Lat Flower Festival
The centre is able to provide a quality working place for approximately 50 reporters and enjoys a number of benefits such as high-speed Internet access and eight computers. The premises will be open to reporters from media agencies until December 24.
Le Thanh Liem, deputy director of Lam Dong Province’s Department of Information and Communications, noted that the press centre will support reporters in doing their job and will also strive to convey information in a timely manner.
At present, over 20 reporters and editors from press agencies nationwide have stated their interest at covering the upcoming festival.
The eighth Da Lat Flower Festival is scheduled to take place between December 20- 24. In total, the event will see 11 major programmes take place throughout the four days, including the opening ceremony slated to be held in Lam Vien Square, a unique art program, a flower space around Xuan Huong lake, an international exhibition featuring flowers and ornamental plants, in addition to a Bao Loc silk and brocade fashion show.
