Over 2 million scholarships presented to Vietnamese youth

(VOV) -The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union held a meeting in Hanoi on November 30, reviewing the implementation of its programme to ignite the dreams of Vietnamese youth over the 2007–2012 period.

The programme aims to educate the younger generations, helping them overcome their difficulties and achieve their goals.

After five years of implementation, it has attracted 75,000 members and organised 69,000 exchange activities. It also presented Vietnamese students with more than 2 million scholarships and gifts worth a total of over VND500 billion.

Youth Union Secretary Nguyen Thi Ha hailed the programme’s achievements and contributions from individuals and  across the country.
