According to initial reports, at 16:15 on April 7, the police caught two Laotian nations as they were transporting a large quantity of drugs from Laos to Vietnam to be sold.
The suspects were identified as Thao Choi, 60, and Nang My, 20, both residing in Savannakhet province.
40,000 pills of synthetic drugs labeled as “WY”, a Laotian registered car, and three mobile phones were seized at the scene.
The police in Kon Tum province are now completing the procedures to hand over the two suspects to police in Laos.
