Chau highlighted the Lao official’s visit, which she said, demonstrates the friendship and solidarity between the two fronts, as well as relations between the two localities.
Building on good relations between Ho Chi Minh City and Champasak province, the sharing of experience in front work and mass mobilisation will help to consolidate the friendship between the two localities’ people, she told his guest.
Permanent Vice President of the VFF’s Ho Chi Minh City chapter Tran Tan Ngoi said the city’s socio-economic achievements is attributable to the chapter’s units, adding that diverse campaigns and movements are considered a contributory factor to public involvement in the common development of the city.
Keophouvong, for his part, said his visit is designed to share front work experience with the city, thus further promoting bilateral ties on the basis of special solidarity and all-around cooperation between the two Parties and States, and their people.
He said he hopes that what the two sides would share in the near future will help to foster their friendship and spur the socio-economic development in each locality.
