|Four COVID-19 patients receive discharge from hospital
Of the released cases, patient No. 343 is 27 years old and is a local resident of Quang Ninh who was originally transferred to hospital to receive treatment on June 19. She now remains in stable health condition and has since tested negative twice for the virus.
Elsewhere, patient No. 345 is a 39-year-old woman from Bac Tu Liem district of Hanoi. After first admitted to hospital for treatment on June 19, she has since been displaying no symptoms of the virus, such as a fever, a cough, or shortness of breath. She has subsequently twice tested negative for the virus.
Furthermore, patients No. 354 and No.355 are both female patients hailing from Ho Chi Minh City and Thanh Hoa province, respectively. The pair were originally taken to hospital on June 24 where they responded well to treatment and have since gone on to test negative for the COVID-19 twice in succession.
Moving forward, all four female patients are to be placed into isolation in their respective homes in order to undergo a mandatory 14-day observation period to ensure there is no possibility of the virus reoccurring.
To date, the country has reported 355 COIVD-19 cases and has now gone over 77 consecutive days without any local transmission.
