| Patient No.582 makes a successful recovery
Recent checks show that each of the patients tested negative for the SARS-CoV-2 virus between three and six times, while none of them are displaying any symptoms of the virus, such as a cough or a fever.
Upon their release, each of the individuals will be placed into quarantine facilities for a period of 14 days in line with COVID-19 prevention and control regulations.
This comes after patient numbered 582, a 55-year-old man, had been in critical condition after being diagnosed with hypertension, heart failure, and ischemic heart disease. Despite these challenges, the support of Vietnamese medical staff allowed him to make a successful recovery from the virus.
Tran Thanh Linh, deputy head of the emergency department at Cho Ray Hospital, stated that the initial COVID-19 outbreak in the central city of Da Nang has been gradually brought under control, with recent days witnessing a decreasing number of new cases. This will ultimately serve to reduce patient overload occurring at central and city-level hospitals, as well as relieving the workload placed on medical staff.
