Four COVID-19 cases in HCM City enjoy making full recovery

VOV.VN - A further four patients who had been suffering from the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) received a discharge from hospitals in Ho Chi Minh City on April 8 after making a full recovery.

After receiving treatment for the COVID-19 at Can Gio hospital all three patients have made a full recovery from the virus.

Three of the patients had been receiving treatment at Can Gio hospital whilst the other case had been treated at Cu Chi field hospital.

Among the group treated at Can Gio hospital was the nation’s 125th patient, a 22-year-old South African woman who was first admitted to hospital on March 22.

She was joined by the country’s 126th patient, a 28-year-old South African male who was brought to hospital just a day later on March 23.

The other is the 152nd patient, a 27-year-old Vietnamese citizen who was hospitalised on March 23.

Elsewhere, the 153rd patient, a 60-year-old Vietnamese citizen, was admitted to Cu Chi field hospital on March 24.

Doctors working at the respective hospitals stated that all the patients have subsequently tested negative for the virus several times and all remain in stable health condition.  

Upon leaving the hospitals, each of the cases are required to self-isolate at their places of residence for a further 14 days.  

As of April 8 there has been 251 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Vietnam, with 126 going on to make a successful recovery.
