According to the initial information, at 12:30pm, local residents saw black smoke coming from Thien Ngan printing factory. The fire rapidly engulfed the workshop area within minutes.
After the fire alarm was raised, three fire engines and fire crews were mobilized to the scene to extinguish the fire.
Fire crews encountered a number of challenges when tackling the blaze as the workshop contained flammable materials such as paper and printing ink.
The inferno was brought under control by 3pm. There are currently no reports of causalities but the fire destroyed a lot of property inside the building including a motorcycle, a forklift truck and dozens of package printers.
The cause of the incident is still under investigation.
