According to local witnesses, the fire started in the corner of the workshop and rapidly spread to three nearby sections, forcing residents to flee in panic. Local residents were unable to tackle the blaze as the workshop contained flammable materials such as wood and other wooden products.
After the fire alarm was raised, fire engines and fire fighters were mobilized to the scene to extinguish the fire. It took over an hour for fire crews to bring the blaze under control. As a result of the fire, the 400 square-metre workshop was completely destroyed, but no casualties were reported at the scene.
The cause of the incident is still under investigation.
