|Provincial leaders present gifts to doctors at quarantine areas
With Bach Mai Hospital emerging as a hot spot for the virus in recent days, there have been many new cases detected that directly relate to the hospital. This has led to the provincial health sector strictly monitoring people who had recently visited Bach Mai Hospital and move to put them into quarantine.
In total, the province has been able to record 15 cases of people who had been to Bach Mai Hospital, including seven cases in Hanoi and Thai Binh, along with eight cases of people returning to the locality.
As a result, each of the eight cases have since been transferred to a concentrated isolation area based in Buon Ma Thuot city.
The provincial health sector has therefore taken samples from each of these cases, with the test results ultimately coming back negative for the COVID-19 on March 30.
According to statistics compiled by the provincial health sector, there have been no COVID-19 cases recorded in the locality as of March 31.
Despite this, there have been a total of 375 cases involving people returning from epidemic areas, including many who had come into close contact with COVID-19 patients.
At present, 285 cases have completed their quarantine period, while the remaining 90 cases are being isolated at health facilities, concentrated isolation zones, or at their residence.
