Many areas throughout the northern region are expected to endure heavy rain from the evening of November 27.
This cold spell is also expected to affect the central and south-central region, including from Nghe An to Phu Yen provinces, which are predicted to experience heavy rainfall for three days.
Landslides could also occur in some mountainous provinces. Local authorities have been urged to take measures in a bid to help residents and prevent any considerable damage to people, property, and infrastructure.
The cold spell is forecast to last until November 29.
