The projects will be carried out in collaboration with the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-HABITAT) and the Center for Research Family Health and Community (CEFACOM).
Of the total, VND3.2 billion will be provided for UN-HABITAT to build a pipeline to bring water to poor households in three suburban communes of Khanh Hoa province. About 3,900 people are expected to benefit from this project.
The remaining VND2.8 billion will be granted to CEFACOM to carry out a project to supply clean water to more than 4,500 people in Hanoi, Danang and Ho Chi Minh City.
In addition, Coca-Cola will coordinate with the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) in restoring the ecology of Dong Thap Muoi (Plain of Reeds) submerged areas in the Tram Chim National Park and implementing a climate change adaptation project in Ben Tre province with a total investment of VND24 billion.
