VOV.VN - At present, Hanoi is yet to record any confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) infection, with the capital moving to put 25 people who have recently returned from epidemic areas in the Republic of Korea (RoK) into quarantine.

As of 12:30 on February 26, Hanoi has reported three suspected cases of the COVID-19 infection and has swiftly moved to put the individuals into isolation, so they can undergo a period of strict monitoring.

The total number of people arriving in the nation from epidemic areas that require medical supervision has reached 2,151 cases, of which 1,836 have had their medical supervision ended, whilst 315 people continue to be closely monitored.

Meanwhile, the capital has also put a total of 25 cases of arrivals from epidemic areas in the RoK into isolation for strict medical surveillance.

The total number of isolated people at the municipal Police Hospital has reached 116, of which 24 cases have had their isolation period ended, while a further 92 cases are under medical supervision.

The number of people being put into quarantine areas in Son Tay Military School stands at 144 cases.
