VOV.VN - The European Union - Vietnam Free Trade Agreement, poised to be signed on June 30, would leverage Vietnam to build new value chains with the EU, one of the world’s leading economic powers, Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh has stated.
The European Council announced on June 25 that it has approved the European Union – Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA) and the EU – Vietnam Investment Protection Agreement (EVIPA), and assigned the EU to sign the deals with Vietnam on June 30 in Hanoi.
Novatek signed a memorandum of understanding with the Ninh Thuan People’s Committee last week in order to develop an integrated energy-generating project using LNG in Vietnam. The signing ceremony occurred within the framework of an official visit by Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc to Russia.
