Vietnam’s National Day celebrated in Algeria

Vietnamese Ambassador to Algeria Vu Van Du gave a banquet on September 4 to mark the 62nd anniversary of Vietnam’s August Revolution and National Day. Present were 400 guests, including Algerian Minister of War Veterans Mohamed Cherif Abbas and Minister of Housing and Urban Affairs Mohamed Nadir.

Addressing the event, Ambassador Vu Van Du briefed the guests on Vietnam’s socio-economic achievements in the past year and affirmed that Vietnam has become an attractive destination for foreign investors and tourists thanks to its political stability and constantly improved investment climate.


Algerian and other international guests expressed their belief that Vietnam will become a leading Asian economy and further enhance its status in the region and the world.
