Vietnam’s international integration under review

VOV.VN - The National Steering Committee for International Integration will review its performance since its inception five years ago at a meeting set to take place in mid-April.

The major focus of the meeting will be on promoting the proactive, creative and effective integration into the world for the sake of rapid and sustainable development.

It will review the Government’s implementation of Resolution 22-NQ/TW on international integration, issued by the 11th-tenure Politburo on April 10, 2013, and Resolution 06-NQ/TW on international integration amid Vietnam’s participation in new-generation free trade agreements, issued by the 12th-tenure Party Central Committee on November 5, 2016.

The meeting will point out experience and work out a host of measures to boost the country’s international integration in the time to come.

Leaders from agencies in charge of external relations of the Party, the National Assembly and the President’s Office, along with representatives of socio-political organisations like the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Vietnam Farmers’ Union, and some international organizations will be in attendance at the meeting.
