The visit gives the two parties’ leaders a chance to strengthen their traditional friendship and ties between the two countries in a wide range of fields, Vuong said while calling the two parties continue working together at regional and global forums for the sake of peace, stability, and development in the region and the wider world.
The MPP official briefed his host on Mongolia’s political and socio-economic situation, as well as the MPP’s activities, noting that exchanges between the two parties contribute to fostering the traditional friendship between the two parties, countries, and people.
Earlier the same day, Politburo member and head of the CPV Central Committee’s Organisation Commission Pham Minh Chinh also held talks with the MPP Secretary General.
The two sides updated each other on the situation in each party and nation while discussing party building – especially in personnel, inspection, and political and ideological education work – as well as regional and global issues of common concern.
Member of the CPV Central Committee and head of its External Relations Commission Hoang Binh Quan also held a working session with the Mongolian delegation during which, both sides discussed orientations and measures to further enhance bilateral friendship and cooperation.
They also signed a memorandum of understanding on stepping up cooperation between the two parties.
During the stay, the delegation held working sessions with leaders of the Hanoi municipal and Quang Ninh provincial party committees, as well as toured a number of cultural establishments in Hanoi and Ha Long Bay- the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
