These policies provide favourable conditions for Vietnamese people to work and live in Japan, the PM told his guest while saying Morita’s visit to Vietnam, the second within five months shows the governor’s special attention to and sentiments towards the Vietnamese land and people.
The visit is expected to contribute to fostering relations between Chiba and Vietnamese localities as well as the relationship between Vietnam and Japan, which is growing steadily in a multitude of fields.
The government leader also applauded the socio-economic achievements Chiba has gained while hoping both sides will discuss cooperation opportunities between Chiba and Vietnamese businesses and localities in the time to come.
PM Phuc expressed his confidence that the governor will make greater contributions to enhancing Japan’s role as Vietnam’s leading important economic partner, especially in providing official development assistance (ODA), and promoting investment, and trade.
In reply, Morita highlighted Vietnam’s great potential in high-quality human resources, adding that Chiba is also building and refining policies in a bid to attract more Vietnamese labourers to the locality, he said.
He also pledged his best efforts to foster cooperation and friendship between the two countries.
