|Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc (R) welcomes former Vice Chancellor of Germany Philipp Rosler
At the reception, PM Phuc glowingly spoke of Philipp Rosler who is vastly experienced in economics, for attending and giving his opinions at the forum as a contribution to Vietnam’s development of startups.
Phuc said he hopes that Rosler, with Vietnamese blood running in his veins as well as deep sentiments towards the homeland, will continue to make contributions to Vietnam’s socio-economic development and help Vietnam draw many more world-leading businesses in the future.
The government leader also told his host that the Vietnamese Government has always welcomed feedback from intellectuals, investors and businesses.
For his part, Rosler pledged his greater contributions to Vietnam’s development in the time ahead and act as a bridge connecting Vietnamese businesses with foreign markets, such as Germany, the US and other nations in Europe.
He also expressed his hope that he will offer helpful advice to some major Vietnamese businesses.
Rosler once served as stint as German Vice Chancellor and Federal Minister of Economics and Technology, and later became a member of the managing board of the World Economic Forum (WEF).
