Mai highlighted the exchange of female members between the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) and the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) of Japan as a new channel of cooperation for the Vietnam-Japan strategic partnership.
She showed her delight at the sound and comprehensive development of Vietnam and Japan in terms of political parties, governmental and parliamentary channels, along with people-to-people exchanges. In reply, Tsuchiya said this is the first visit of a female delegation of the LDP to Vietnam and said she desires to further boost exchanges between the two countries’ female leaders in the time ahead.
She affirmed the LDP’s continued support and efforts to contribute to the bilateral relations in line with the Extensive Strategic Partnership for Peace and Prosperity in Asia.
