VOV.VN -The Vietnamese plastic industry gained a total export value of over US$3 billion last year, a year-on-year increase of 17.3%, according to the Vietnam Plastic Association (VPA).

(VOV) -The Vietnam Plastic Association (VPA) has reported 2013’s plastic exports earned US$1.808 billion, a 13.3% annual improvement.
The country’s plastics exports to Japan is likely to hit US$100 million in the second quarter of this year, up 23 percent year-on-year, according to the Vietnam Plastics Association.
The export of plastic products is forecast to hit US$1.35 billion in turnover, up 35 percent over last year, says the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) forecasts that the turnover of the country’s plastics exports may reach US$1 billion this year.
