VOV.VN - A group of 988 Vietnamese guest workers who had been staying illegally in the Republic of Korea (RoK) voluntarily returned home during the first half of this year, according to a report by the Labour Management Office of the Vietnamese Embassy in the RoK and Korean authorities.
VOV.VN - Vietnam had 134,751 guest workers employed abroad last year, exceeding the set target by 28.3% and equivalent to 106.7% of 2016’s figure. 2017 set a record as the fourth consecutive year that Vietnam has had more than 100,000 workers in foreign job markets.
Vietnam’s northernmost province of Ha Giang and Baise city of China’s Guangxi province will continue to effectively implement the agreement on cross-border labour management, contributing to promoting bilateral relations.
