The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) has announced that coach Pham Van Hung of Mitsustar Haier Hai Phong club, and Tran Cong Minh of Dong Thap club will join the coaching board of the national football squad to help chief coach Alfred Riedl.

VFF said Hung will train goalkeepers, while Minh wil be responsible for logistics.

Earlier, VFF also invited coach Tran Van Khanh of Hoa Phat-Hanoi cllub and Duong Ngoc Hung of Pjico Binh Dinh club, but both refused due to their heavy duties at clubs.

Austrian coach Riedl said after he had selected coach Mai Duc Chung of the national women team as his first assistant, VFF has the right to select other assistants for him.
