Visitors pour into Can Tho’s entertainment spots

VOV.VN - The southern city of Can Tho's numerous tourist attractions have lured crowds of visitors during the first 3 days of the lunar new year festival.

Deputy Director of the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Tran Viet Phuong, said that the local tourism industry expects to generate US$150 million this year.

“We will upgrade tourism services, especially river eco-tourism, garden tours as well as meeting, conferences and exhibitions. Infrastructure will be modernized with advanced tourism services to promote the industry", said Mr Phuong.

Popular destinations in Can Tho city include a Flower Street 2018, My Khanh Tourism Village and Cai Rang floating market.

The city expects to welcome 8 million tourists this year.
