VOV.VN - Vietnam Airlines Group, comprising Vietnam Airlines, Pacific Airlines and Vietnam Air Services Company (VASCO), has continued to record strong on-time performance (OTP) for three consecutive months, according to the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam.
Among the group’s carriers, Pacific Airlines led the industry in OTP for three straight months, posting rates of 89% in March, 96% in April and 95.2% in May, consistently maintaining the highest level nationwide despite growing operational demand.

All three carriers outperformed the industry average, which stood at 79.6% in March, 86% in April and 87.1% in May.
The results reflect improved operational management, coordinated efforts across the Vietnam Airlines Group ecosystem, and the dedication of staff across all service stages, from flight operations and engineering to ground handling, pilots, and cabin crew, all working toward safe, punctual and convenient travel experiences.
In recent months, the airlines have implemented a range of measures to enhance operational efficiency, optimise resources and strengthen coordination across the system, helping improve punctuality amid rising travel demand.
Speaking on the results, Vietnam Airlines Deputy CEO Dang Anh Tuan emphasised that the group has consistently maintained OTP above the industry average, adding that the achievement underscores the effectiveness of its operational solutions and system-wide efforts to ensure safe and stable operations while improving passenger experience.
Vietnam Airlines Group said it would continue enhancing operational efficiency and expanding the use of digital technology to further improve on-time performance, elevate passenger experience and strengthen its competitiveness in the international aviation market.
