Tourism in coastal province bounces back

A year on from the sea environment incident caused by Formosa, the tourism industry in the central province of Quang Binh is gradually recovering.

Contrasting from the deserted sight last year, this year’s tourist season is showing good signs with the number of visitors to Quang Binh increasing.

Beaches in Quang Binh are bustling these days.

The local tourism industry reported in the first quarter of this year, hotels with three stars or more had a relatively stable occupancy rate.

It is expected that the tourism industry in Quang Binh province, which is endowed with beautiful beaches and plenty of interesting caves, will recover and develop strongly in the future.
