Thai Airways to launch daily Bangkok–Da Nang route in December 2026
VOV.VN - Thai Airways will launch daily direct flights between Bangkok and Da Nang from Dec. 1, 2026, providing a new boost to tourism and air connectivity between Thailand and central Vietnam, according to the Da Nang Tourism Promotion Centre.
The airline will operate two flights in each direction per day between Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi International Airport and Da Nang International Airport. The new service is expected to attract more Thai visitors, increase seat capacity and boost two-way travel between the two destinations.
With its close proximity to Thailand and short travel time, Da Nang is well suited for short breaks by Thai travellers. The city also serves as a convenient gateway to nearby cultural, natural and heritage attractions in central Vietnam.
The new route is set to support the development of tourism products, including leisure holidays, group tours, MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions) travel, and multi-destination itineraries.
In addition to serving travellers from Thailand, the route will help attract more international visitors via Bangkok, one of Southeast Asia's major aviation hubs.
With a network connecting more than 60 destinations across Asia, Europe and Australia, Thai Airways will enable travelers from a wide range of international markets to connect through Bangkok before continuing to Da Nang.
The expanded connectivity is anticipated to be particularly valuable for visitors traveling from destinations without direct air links to the central Vietnamese city, as well as for travelers planning multi-country itineraries in the region.
Direct Manila-Da Nang route set for four weekly flights from March
