Phu Yen welcomes over 15,500 visitors during holidays

VOV.VN - The South Central Coastal province of Phu Yen received more than 15,500 visitors including 2,200 foreigners during three holidays to mark the National Day spanning from September 1 to 3, an increase of 14% against the same period last year, according to the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.  

Popular tourist attractions in Phu Yen include Ganh Da Dia (rocky plate reef), Mui Dien Lighthouse, Bai Xep beach and Hon Yen islet.

Three to five-star hotels have been fully booked during the holidays. Most of tourists to Phu Yen come from HCM City, Hanoi and nearby localities of Dak Lak, Gia Lai and Binh Dinh.

National Day holidays offer opportunities for Phu Yen province to promote its image through a street music festival and street food.

Phu Yen province expects to welcome more than 1.5 million tourists this year.
