Khanh Hoa gears up preparations for Sea Festival

The festival will include a wide range of culture, art, sport and tourism activities, aiming to promote the cultural value of Vietnam, particularly Nha Trang-Khanh Hoa.The event is also part of activities in response to the National Tourism Year 2019 hosted by Khanh Hoa province.

The opening ceremony of the Festival and the National Tourism Year 2019 is scheduled to be held on the evening of May 11 while the closing ceremony will be on May 14.

Nguyen Dac Tai, vice chairman of the Khanh Hoa People’s Committee, said after eight successful festivals, the organizing board will further improve the quality of the event in order to leave good impression on both domestic and foreign visitors while promoting the province’s economic, culture and tourism potential as well as its sustainable development prospects.
