Hoi An to host first hot air balloon festival
VOV.VN - A festival showcasing hot air balloons is set to be held for the first time at the Hoai River Square in Hoi An City on March 25 and March 26 in response to the National Tourism Year-Quang Nam 2022.
As many as 17 hot air balloons featuring numerous distinctive shapes and colours will be put on display on the banks of the Hoai river to allow visitors to visit and snap photographs.
The balloons are scheduled to go up between 6 a.m. and 9 a.m., and again between 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on March 25, as well as between 6 a.m. and 9 a.m. on March 26.
The National Tourism Year 2022 is due to kick off in the central province of Quang Nam on March 25, with the festival being one part of celebratory activities.
