VOV.VN - Ho Chi Minh City will officially introduce the DL06 non-subsidised open-top double-decker sightseeing bus route on July 4, connecting the city centre with the Binh Trung area.
The route will be operated by World Travel Trading JSC using 60-seat pink open-top double-decker Thaco buses. The service allows passengers to enjoy panoramic city views while travelling past major architectural landmarks, well-known attractions and modern urban areas across HCM City.
According to HCM City’s Public Transport Management Centre, the DL06 route is nearly 28 km long, with each trip taking around 110 minutes. The service will operate daily from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
From July 4 to before October 1, 2026, the route will operate five trips per day. Frequency will increase to 10 trips per day in October and to 15 trips per day from November 1 onward.
The route starts at Saigon Bus Station, passing through the city centre, the Thu Thiem urban area and Binh Trung, while connecting several key stops including Sala Urban Area and Nguyen Hue Walking Street for sightseeing.
According to the Public Transport Management Centre, the new route is expected to diversify the city’s tourism products, provide more options for residents and visitors to explore HCM City from a new perspective, and help promote the city’s image as dynamic, modern and culturally distinctive.
