Foreign tourists go viral for trying construction work in Vietnam’s Mekong Delta

VOV.VN - A video showing a group of foreign tourists trying construction work in Vietnam’s Mekong Delta is drawing widespread attention online, surpassing 4 million views on TikTok and sparking lively reactions.

Instead of choosing luxury holidays or conventional sightseeing trips, the group opted for manual work during their visit to Vietnam. In the video, more than 15 tourists of different ages are seen working at a building site in the Mekong Delta under the summer heat.

Wearing simple protective gear, hats and work gloves, the tourists helped with various tasks, including mixing cement, laying bricks, passing construction materials and aligning brick rows with coordinated teamwork.

Although the work required physical effort and skill, the group remained enthusiastic and energetic throughout. Many impressed viewers with their coordination and surprisingly professional performance in a real construction-site setting.

The clip quickly went viral, with many online users expressing amusement and surprise at the group’s professional skills. Many described it as a unique travel experience that gave visitors a chance to experience real work activities firsthand in Vietnam.
