Da Nang to receive flights from 10 countries, territories this summer

VOV.VN - The Da Nang International Terminal Investment and Operation Joint Stock Company (AHT) has announced plans to welcome flights from 10 countries and territories across the world during the summer.

The central city is scheduled to receive flights from the Republic of Korea (RoK), China, Thailand, Taiwan (China), Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, Cambodia, Mongolia, and Laos.

Most notably, there are up to 10 airlines operating routes from the RoK to Da Nang, accounting for nearly 47% of the total number of flights which will take place during this summer.

According to its schedule, Da Nang Airport will see the presence of a new airline, Lao Airlines, which regularly operates the Vientiane - Da Nang route with a frequency of two flights per week from March 30.

Furthermore, Pacific Airlines will resume flights from the RoK on the route Muan - Da Nang from April 28 to October 9 with a total of 30 flights.

Okay Airways will also return to regular operation of flights between China and the central city by running the Hunan - Da Nang route with a frequency of three flights per week from May 2.

Da Nang, Vietnam's central tourism hub, is home to worldwide famous heritage sites such as My Son Sanctuary and Hoi An Town.

In 2022 the busiest tourist city in the central region hosted 3.69 million tourists and expected to exceed the figure this year.

The city will be hosting several international events in 2023 including the first Asian Da Nang Film Festival in May and the 11th Da Nang International Fireworks Festival in June.
