VOV.VN - Budget carrier Bamboo Airways on January 25 began selling tickets for regular flights from Vietnam to Germany, Australia, and the UK and vice versa.
The initial flight between Hanoi (Vietnam) and London (the UK) is scheduled to take off on March 22, whilst a flight from Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam) to Melbourne (Australia) will depart on February 19. There will be two weekly flights on each route.
The airline plans to open a direct route between Hanoi and Frankfurt from February 25 with two flights running each week, and the frequency of flights will be increased at a later date based on passengers’ travel demand.
Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner will be used on these routes, providing a comfortable experience for passengers on long-distance flights.
Bamboo Airways on January 24 announced the launch of direct flights between Vietnam and Germany and debuted its German market general sales agent.
This is part of the carrier’s plan to expand international flights this year, aiming to launch 40 direct routes by the end of this year.
From January the carrier has been running regular flights to Taiwan (China), Japan, the Republic of Korea, Singapore, and Thailand.
It has also made preparations for expanding regular flights to Laos, Cambodia, and the United States.
