Mexico, Vietnam cooperate in state auditing

At meetings on March 17 and 18, Roberto Salcedo Aquino, deputy auditor general of Mexico, briefed the delegation on the Mexican State Auditor’s Office organization structure and operational fields.

Mr Aquino said the seven-day event is an opportunity for the two sides to exchange views on State budget management issues and share experiences, focusing on the coordination between the legislative bodies.

He said his hope is that the two sides would continue to strengthen cooperation through joint programs and activities under the framework of the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI) and provide each other mutual support at international forums.

The Vietnamese delegation also visited and worked with the Supreme Audit Institution of the State of Puebla to share professional experience and seek opportunities to establish long-term cooperation.
