Malaysia – ASEAN biggest trade partner of China
Malaysia remained the biggest trade partner of China in the ASEAN bloc with two-way trade reaching US$97.35 billion in 2015, according to Malaysian Prime Minister’s special envoy to China Ong Ka Ting.
Between 2013-2014, the two nations saw a fast growing trade partnership, with their bilateral trade exceeding US$100 billion, Ong said.
There is huge room for cooperation between the two countries’ small-and medium-sized enterprises and industries, services, and financial sector, he noted.
