Expo spotlights poultry processing in Vietnam
VOV.VN - One of the biggest trade shows in Vietnam for those involved in the food and drink industry has opened its doors at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre in Ho Chi Minh City.
This year the exhibition is spotlighting the Association of Poultry Processors and Poultry Trade in Poland and the EU, principally focusing on bolstering trade of processed poultry products, said Ho Thi Kim Thoa, deputy minister of the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MARD) in his opening address.
Members of the Association of Poultry Processor and Poultry Trade in Poland and the EU are on hand, he said, to provide consultation and advice on biological farming methods and the application of state-of-the-art methods in food processing and storage.
The Deputy Minister said the exhibition this year is expected to attract approximately 20,000 guests from an estimated 20 countries around the globe.
The event has been organized by Vinexad with the great support and close cooperation from many organizations including MARD; the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development; Poland Association of Poultry; Association of Poultry Processors and Poultry Trade in the EU; and the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency.
