Danang new airport terminal set for take off

VOV.VN - A new passenger terminal at the Danang International Airport will be accessible to the public with first flights taking off in March, reports the Airports Corporation of Vietnam.

A flurry of activity is taking place, said Hoang Viet Ha of the Airports Corporation, getting crucial equipment, computer systems, baggage equipment and check-in kiosks up and operational.

Moving all the international flight operations to an entirely new terminal is a major logistical feat that requires coordination and cooperation from multiple partners and agencies and hundreds of individuals.

The terminal will be accessible to the public with flights departing and leaving like clockwork, said Mr Ha, well in advance of the busy travel schedule anticipated for APEC Summit Week set for Danang in November 2017.
