The upcoming state visit to Laos by Party General Secretary To Lam is set to further deepen the special Vietnam-Laos relationship, reaffirming both countries’ commitment to preserving their traditional bonds and strengthening their enduring great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation, Vietnamese Ambassador to Laos Nguyen Minh Tam has said.

The Vietnamese Embassy in Laos has held a ceremony marking the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification (April 30) within the framework of a photo exhibition running in Vientiane from April 22-30.

Laos continues to be the top destination for Vietnam's outbound investment, while Vietnam remains one of the largest foreign investors in the neighbour, heard a seminar in Vientiane on February 14.
