Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong on May 26 chaired a meeting of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat to consider disciplinary measures on an official of Da Nang city and a former official of Quang Binh province.

Disciplinary measures have been issued for current and former officials of the Ministry of Science and Technology (MoST), the Ministry of Health (MoH) and the State Securities Commission of Vietnam (SSC) for previous wrongdoings.

Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong chaired a meeting of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat in Hanoi on January 15 to consider disciplinary measures against the Party Delegation to the Vietnam Red Cross Society (VRCS) for 2017-2022 tenure and several officials.

The Secretariat of the Party Central Committee on October 1 looked into disciplinary measures against the Standing Board of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Coast Guard (VCG) in the 2015-2020 tenure and a number of individuals for their violations.
