Vietnam’s national team gathers back for Asian Cup 2019

VOV.VN - Vietnam’s national football team on December 20 gathered again at Daewoo Hotel in Hanoi in preparation for the oncoming 2019 Asian Cup in the UAE in January.
After winning the AFF Cup trophy, the team had a 4-day break. |

Striker Ha Duc Chinh. Vietnamese team will have five training days before competing in a friendly match against the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) at the My Dinh National Stadium on December 25. |
They will fly to Qatar on December 27 and continue training in one week. The team will play against the Philippines and the last friendly match of the year on the December 31. |

In the 2019 Asian Cup, Vietnam have been drawn in group D alongside Iran, Iraq, and Yemen. They will play Iraq on January 8, Iran on January 12, and Yemen on January 16 2019. |
Footballer Nguyen Thanh Chung. Park Hang Seo, the Korean head coach of the Vietnamese men’s national football team, eliminated forward Nguyen Anh Duc and Van Quyet and added 6 players to Vietnam’s squad. The six additional players are Tran Minh Vuong, Dinh Thanh Binh, Phan Thanh Hau, Nguyen Thanh Chung, Huynh Tan Sinh, and Ngo Tung Quoc. |
