Vietnamese motorbike racers to compete at regional tournaments

VOV.VN - The Honda Racing Vietnam crew are set to participate in two major regional tournaments this year, including Idemitsu Asia Talent Cup (IATC) and Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC).

Ahead of these competitions the crew has selected Nguyen Tran Duc Tai to become the first Vietnamese motorcycle racer to compete at the 2022 Idemitsu Asia Talent Cup, with the event expected to get underway in March.

The IATC represents the most prestigious motorcycle road racing tournament for leading young talents throughout both Asia and Oceania. It is designed to be a pathway to Moto3, Moto2, and finally MotoGP.

The race, which held its inaugural season back in 2014, is being organised by Dorna Sport, which also controls Grand Prix motorcycle racing and the Superbike World Championship.

Furthermore, three other Vietnamese motorbike racers are also well underway with their preparations to compete at ARRC 2022, including Nguyen Duc Thanh, Nguyen Anh Tuan, and Cao Viet Nam.

The tournament will consist of six rounds, which will be held in several major racecourses across Asia from March 22 to November 20.
