Vietnamese football stars on the move after Asian Cup 2019

VOV.VN - A variety of football stars from the Vietnamese national team including Dang Van Lam, Que Ngoc Hai, and Bui Tien Dung have recently signed for new football clubs after their strong performances at the AFC Asian Cup 2019. 

A few days following their exit from the Asian Cup 2019, a number of players from the Vietnamese national team confirmed their transfer to new football clubs.
Goalkeeper Dang Van Lam, 26, has said farewell to Haiphong FC. He has recently transferred to Thailand’s Muangthong United FC and will receive a salary of US$10,000 per month.
Van Lam is currently Vietnam’s No. 1 goalkeeper and was one of the most impressive players on display at the Asian Cup 2019.
Que Ngoc Hai has finished his contract with SLNA FC. He has signed for Viettel FC ahead of their return to the V-League.
Ngoc Hai captained the national team at the AFC Asian Cup 2019.
Trong Hoang chose not to renew his contract with Thanh Hoa FC.
Hoang has a range of possibilities including the chance to play for SLNA FC.
Goalkeeper Bui Tien Dung signed a one-year contract with the defending V.League champions Hanoi FC on January 28.
Dung shone at last year’s AFC U23 Championship in China. He was named in the squad for the AFF Suzuki Cup 2018 and Asian Cup 2019.
Rising stars Cong Phuong, Xuan Truong, and Quang Hai are expected to transfer to clubs abroad in the near future.
