Vietnam women to play in friendly tournament in China
Vietnam's women's football team will take part in a friendly tournament in China from January 19 to 26, 2016.
They will play teams from the Republic of Korea, Mexico and the hosts in Shenzhen. The teams will compete in a round-robin format, with the best two teams advancing to the final.
While China and the Republic of Korea are familiar rivals, Vietnam will play world number 26 Mexico from North America for the first time.
Both teams are preparing for their Brazil Olympics' qualifiers.
